The Beast: Brachypelma vagans tarantula
I have acquired quite a remarkable specimen in this tarantula. It's temperament is of that of my Chaco Goldknee. I have never once had to catch The Beast as a run away, or be extra cautious as to handling, in actual fact I struggle to get him moving! He is so relaxed and such a lazy bum I have to nudge him quite briskly to get him going. Luckily so due to all the spam forums mentioning how skittish these species can be. I think a lot of their behvior comes from how they are treated/their conditions they live in. The Beast got his name from the huge appetite he displays also from the fact that he is growing at an equal speed to Website (Brazilian Salmon Pink - one of the fastest and largest growing tarantulas in existence). I can't wait for The beast to get larger so that the Ferrari red bristled on his 'abdomen' can become more visible!
