My Ball Python: Nacho a day after she has shed. Their new skin is very shiny and of the absolute softest texture. I take her out for an inspection to make sure the eye caps came off, that there is no old skin around any part of her especially in the head and anus region. If this skin were left unnoticed it would dry up, constrict and cause serious harm to a snake. I have been told that it could lead to death even! She has a nice smooth shiny belly waiting to be filled with the next pair of adult mice/rat pup.
